As far as cross training I have done P90x almost everyday with an ab work out 2 days on top of it and the running (or bucket ball) in class. I really love P90x, it makes you work and you see results.
LONG RUN- since I am only running the half I ran 12 miles this week and actually felt decent. I try to take as few walk breaks as possible since I am only running the half. This time I took 3 walk breaks every 4 miles for a minute and a half. I felt accomplished when I was done! I am getting excited about running this thing! I am running a week before everyone else in Austin because my sisters wedding is the weekend of whiterock.. so my run is literally right around the corner!!!
