I finally made it 20 miles last night. Yes! (therefore I did not feel guilty about eating a healthy helping of food today). I ran on the Lunsford trail, and I took walk breaks about every five minutes for the first 14-15 miles, and then I went down to every four, and then every three for the last miles.
I did take some ibuprofen before and after the run (i'm not a big fan of pain medication at all, but it did seem to help). I was surprised at how good I felt today. I iced my knees and my arches after running last night and so I think that helped a lot too.
Anyway, I hope it's about 34 degrees when we run the actual Marathon...that seemed like a really nice temperature to me.
Okay! Well, I hope you guys had a great thanksgiving. See you monday for our last week of class!
