What a blessing this week has been! I think everyone really needed this break and it's been so good to finally relax a little! Finding time to squeeze in workouts this week has been a challenge, though, with all of the traveling around to see family. It seems funny to me now that yesterday's run was "just" nine miles. It seemed like nothing, when only a couple of months ago it would have been a big deal. We've grown a lot in this class! How awesome.
I did some Billy's Boot Camp for cross training! :) I highly recommend his workout video series to all of you...it's hilarious and lots of fun. Plus you get to attempt tai bo/karate/whatever it is and it makes for some good times, especially if you do it with friends.
I read this article about a guy from the Abilene area who just ran a 50 mile marathon (wow!) and it really got me to thinking. I definitely, absolutely want to keep running after this class is over, and probably do more marathons. But why stop at 26.2 miles? Just something to think about.
