Thanksgiving Runs

Well my knee seems to be improving slowly but surely. I got through two 30 minute runs over the break. The first run was a bit rough because it was my first run on asphalt after my knee started bothering me. The run started out fine, but I felt a little pain towards the end of the run. On my second run, my whole body felt much better and I was definitely able to keep a much faster pace while still being relaxed. Incidentally, my second run was three hours after my Thanksgiving meal. Both runs were all on either concrete or asphalt, and I felt like my form was different from my form on grass and dirt trails. After asphalt runs, my lower leg seems to be much more tired, and I feel like I have to put a lot more energy into absorbing impact in my lower legs. Hopefully my legs will be able to cope with 26.2 miles of asphalt.
