I recently read that bananas are actually good for runners. Bananas can have up to 500 milligrams of potassium, which can help you prevent cramming. If you guys like bananas as much as I do, it wouldn't hurt to start eating more of them especially before our big race.
This week I have done a 4 miles run on Monday and a 9 mile run on Wednesday. Just yesterday, I ran 20 miles. I thought I did pretty good, but two hours after my run I felt my leg muscles caught in a knot. Not fun let me tell you. I'm massaging my legs constantly; however, I still feel a knot. Hopefully, I can go to somebody soon who can give me a good stretch, or some good drugs!
Despite feeling a little hurt, I feel that I have become a stronger runner this semester and I look forward to a strong finish. I don't know how exactly how bananas are suppose to help in leg knots, but either way, I love bananas!
